Izzy is an award winning British/American Director, Writer and Creative Director. She started directing at the age of 13 when she won a competition to write and direct a comedy sketch starring Harrison Ford. Over the last 15 years, she has had the great fortune to assist Christopher Nolan on “The Dark Knight”, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Jake Gyllenhaal and became an associate producer for David S. Goyer. She then went on to become the Marketing and Brand Management Production Liaison for Christopher Nolan on “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Interstellar”.
Through working with these talented mentors, she continued to write and direct short films. Her short film; “The Skinny” was selected for a large number of film festivals and went on to win a number of prizes including ‘The Festival Director’s Award’ at the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival in Hollywood. She was then hired to write two seasons of a webseries commissioned by YouTube, called “BitchCraft”. In its time online, the “Bitchcraft” episodes have earned more than a million views. After that Izzy was hired as the 2nd unit director on the feature film “X-Moor”, produced by Robert Jones (The Usual Suspects). She has also directed a commercial for Crown Royal and a charity campaign for ‘Our World’ starring with Rainn Wilson.
Having taken the marketing experience she learned from the Nolan movies, she has recently been creating interactive and experiential branded experiences. She has worked as the Creative Director and Director on experiences for HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, “VEEP” and “Silicon Valley”, Lionsgate’s “John Wick”, Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and Amazon on two experiences for “Jack Ryan”. In between these projects, she’s also designed and directed Live Escape Room experiences for Delta Airlines and Prudential.
