The Interactive Producer works cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders and teams across UNIT9 from User Experience & Creative to Technical. He or she has responsibility for the entire production life-cycle of a project; pitching, negotiating statements of work, scheduling, budgeting, scoping, execution and final delivery.
The Producer may delegate the technical management and day to day team coordination responsibilities to a project manager, when this is essential for the success of the project.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Overall project management
-Be the key point of contact between client / project stakeholders and the team
-Collaborate with key stakeholders and department leads to define project objectives, gather requirements and plan resources.
-Facilitate strategy, discovery, development, delivery and maintenance of large-scale projects – from £50k to more than £500k
-Draft, write and manage SOWs, RAMS, Change Orders, Collaboration Agreements, SLAs, Maintenance Agreements, Project Timelines, Reports, etc.
-Employ standard project management tools and processes for project estimation, planning, tracking and control.
-Determine dependencies, define deliverables and delivery dates.
-Devise timelines and ensure that multiple simultaneously-managed projects stay on-track and within their designated budgets.
-Manage cost-time-scope constraints. Develop project methodology and scope effort to fit within budget and schedule.
-Perform regular risk assessments and compile mitigation strategies to ensure the smooth running and delivery of projects
-Proactively identify opportunities to adjust processes for efficiency.
-Provide insightful creative and technical input to the projects you are managing
-Ongoing evaluation, reviewing and approval of projects and work – ensuring output is of the highest quality.
-Lead meetings to ensure they meet the stated objectives and stay on agenda.
-Track and report P&L across all projects weekly with unit9 reporting tools
-Keep track of team availability and resource utilisation
-Ensure effective QA is carried out throughout the production phases
-Coordinate troubleshooting of organisational or technical problems.
-Work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions and communicate effectively in difficult situations.
-Think quickly under pressure, as well as motivate and engage the team to produce the best possible results.
