The new resource is aimed at a whole new generation of gardening enthusiasts as well as the silver surfer audience, helping gardeners troubleshoot insect problems online providing both organic and chemical treatments as well as advice to help prevent problems in the future.

unit9 created the resource in Flash making it as accessible as possible and also developed the XML schema so it is fully updateable using the existing BBC content management system. There will also be a fully accessible HTML alternative.
