FWA Site of the Day: Stella – Black Diamond

Anrick Bregman shot and built the digital counterpart to the Black Diamond, a complex long-form interactive story designed to offer a third person perspective of the Black Diamond story. Set in a world of stark black and white imagery, with a rich and immersive stereoscopic soundtrack, the slow drawn out pace and reflective feel sets a contrast with the current fast paced action enjoyed by online viewers.

‘The Planet Zero’ is a new 3D microsite from ROXIK using his proprietary Sharikura 3D engine. The interactive piece was created for Japanese agency ENJIN, to promote Nissan’s new eco-friendly range of vehicles. Roxik is represented by unit9 outside of Japan.

Contemporary interactive storytelling meets traditionally branded music video in this seamless flash-driven microsite for Converse, directed by unit9’s Anrick Bregman. A very collaborative project that gives Facebook users and their friends a chance to feature in a music video alongside Blur’s Graham Coxon, Bill Ryder-Jones (formerly of The Coral) and Platinum-selling artist Paloma Faith.

XXK: Silver Pencil at One Show Entertainment

The world’s first carrot-crunch-powered video game, ‘Xtreme Xrunch Kart’, has been awarded a silver pencil at the 2011 One Show Entertainment awards in the Branded Mobile Games category.

XXK is a custom made Unity game for iPhone, which uses the accelerometer to manoeuvre a rocket-powered shopping kart whilst crunching real baby carrots to enable gravity-defying tricks.
