John Lewis launched their new advertising campaign on the back of promising warranties on electrical goods and TV sets. This was part of an integrated campaign for adam&eveDDB

The challenge and joy for UNIT9 Film was having the opportunity to shoot on camera and focus on the traditional craft of film making. All to often it’s far easier to create and certainly enhance this kind of work with the use of CGI and both client and agency were keen for this not to be the case so our challenge was to make it happen!

The five was built with different TV’s in varying sizes suspended on wires, this time we used the light source from the TV’s to create the instillation. With each TV powering up, the number five is slowly revealed.

The campaign, which includes online, press, radio, outdoor and digital activity, was created by adam&eveDDB and UNIT9 and shot over two days at Black Island Studios.

The outdoor campaign will include premium roadside, National Rail, London Underground and advertising space at iconic sites.
