Production Assistant/ Junior Project Manager

We are now looking for a full-time Production Assistant/ Junior PM to join the team and lead the production of beautifully crafted digital projects. 

 

Summary

As a UNIT9 Production Assistant/Junior PM your primary role is to support the Producer and project team in the creation and delivery of award winning work. 

You will be working across different types of projects including Experiential, Web, Games and AR/VR. It’s important to bring a flexible approach to your work as the requirements and tasks for these different productions will vary. Your aim is to solve problems and remove obstacles so the team can work as efficiently as possible. 

Your Producer and the wider UNIT9 Production team will support you, as you learn the role and gain experience. 

Please note this is not a Live Action/ Film Production role the work is focussed on projects within the interactive/immersive tech/ digital sphere.  

 

Responsibilities:

Support the Project team on allocated pitches/ productions.

Take ownership of your tasks

Contribute to Project Documentation and help ensure it is up to date (i.e. production deck) 

Assist with the planning and management of Jira sprints

Assist with the planning and population of project backlogs

Assist with the planning of production schedules.

Assist with identifying of potential project risks, resolving blockers proactively and escalating where appropriate

Assist in the management and distribution of project assets 

Assist with weekly project reporting

Arranging meetings and capture accurate meeting notes and feedback

Participate in Stand-ups

Organise hardware purchases and software licences for assigned projects

Preparation of materials for Client and internal project reviews 

Help to refine our working processes allowing projects to be run even more efficiently

More specifically on Experiential Projects:

-Research travel, shipping and accommodation 

-Research and liaise with suppliers for estimates on fabrication, manufacturing and rental requirements. 

-Be on-site for event launches

-Prepare call sheets

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

Strong capacity for multi-tasking, 

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Effective time management skills

Well structured, detail-oriented working style

A genuine passion for digital and experiential innovation 

Proactive, can-do attitude  

Comfortable providing ad hoc support, i.e. booking couriers, arranging visitors
