UNIT9 are on the lookout for an awesome junior receptionist to assist our Studio Manager, at our new space in Farringdon. Housing three of our UNIT9 Companies; Digital, Nucco Brain and Films, we are looking for someone that is well presented and friendly. You would be the first point of contact for all visitors to the studio as well as taking phone calls. Nothing is too much bother; from booking meeting rooms, making teas and coffees, to working alongside the event teams on our in-house events. You’d also be assisting our Studio Manager in the day to day running of the office, helping flag any office space problems and assisting in their resolution.
You would need to be flexible with working hours, as the office is open from 8am – 6.30pm. You would share hours with the studio manager to ensure cover is always available. Great role as a first job for someone looking to get into operations or is interested to see how digital production and creative environments works.
Outline of tasks:
-Meet and greet clients acting as point of contact and Front of House for UNIT9.
-Manage Meeting Room bookings.
-Set up and clear down meeting rooms, including making Tea/Coffee etc.
-Take deliveries and, sort and distribute post.
-Assist the Studio Manager with Facilities oversight.
-Assist with organising cleanliness and maintenance of UNIT9 Offices.
-Assist with travel bookings and project ordering for the company.
-Answer the company phone and take/pass on messages.
-Work with HR and IT team on new starter introductions, meetings and set up.
-Help with any events set up, organisation and clear down.
-Arrange couriers when needed.
-Set up office in the mornings; put out fruit, unpack dishwashers if needed, put filter coffee on. General tidy etc.
-Ensure that the reception and bar area is presentable at all times.
-Organise office opening and locking up.
