Junior Directors' Rep

UNIT9 US  is looking for a Junior Directors’ Rep/New Business Assistant to support our Executive Producers and Business Director.

We are a global production partner with a mission to create astounding content at the intersection of creativity, craft and cutting-edge cinematic storytelling.

Built from a multidisciplinary roster of Directors and Creative Directors, we think of ourselves as experts in crafted social commentary, creative storytelling and innovative execution.

We’re looking for a charismatic, creative and industrious talent  whose primary focus will be to grow industry relations and identify new opportunities for our creative roster. Someone with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Should have an interest in film, experiential, and digital work. We’re looking for someone who is excited to work non traditionally and explore ways to grow the brand and roster outside of the traditional agency > brief > award model.

 

EXPERIENCE/PROFILE

We’re keen to meet a highly personable, charismatic, creatively driven team player whose focus will be to sell and develop our roster of talent.

In this role you will:

-Support our EPs/Business Director with sending newsletters, updating contact database and identifying new business leads.

-Build and support relationships with agencies and brands in the USA / North America.

-Create and present our work to agencies and brands

-Stay up to date with our roster and know the work inside out.

-Keep up to date with all new industry work released, and industry news.

-Have an eye on emerging talent

-Identify opportunities and new ideas for marketing our roster.

-Keep online spaces up to date with new work.

-Manage showreels and website content.

-You will be driven by innovation and creativity in advertising. You will be passionate and knowledgeable across all of the latest technology platforms and innovations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Communication: Excellent communication and social skills are paramount for this role. An aptitude for writing is required.

Networking prowess:  Has the beginnings of an industry rolodex and the interest in building new relationships.   

Knowledge of and interest in advertising.

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.

Full time role with a hybrid work flow.
