Sum of its pArts
The Sum of its Parts is an experiment in collaborative art. Over the course of the exhibition, participants take turns to reproduce iconic pieces of art. After each interpretation, the average colour is calculated for each pixel to produce the current collaborative work.
The main component of the installation is a home made 150cm x 113cm LLP (laser light plane) multi-touch surface. The blob tracking is done using Tbeta. Tbeta sends TUIO messages to Processing which then renders the display.
